Packages and Parcels

Sixth College Residents may pick up packages at the Hospitality Information (HI) Desk on the ground level of Tapestry (Building 4) - main doors located on the east side.

Please be prepared to show campus ID or some other form of photo verification, along with your mailbox number.

Packages and parcels can be picked up during business hours 7 days a week. You will be notified via email from Student Mail Services that your package is at HI.

If you have not received an email from Student Mail Services, your package is not ready to be picked up.

SCL “Shipment Tracking Tool”
Residents can use this portal to track packages that have been scanned and received by Student Mail Services. Use your Single Sign-On credentials to log into and track packages. Please note that it takes 1-2 business days for packages to appear.

Mailroom Location and Information

The mailroom is located to the left of the HI desk in the Tapestry building by the Campus Shuttle stop on the southeast corner. The mailroom can be accessed 24 hours a day with student ID.

In order to receive mail and packages, please use the following address format:

Outgoing Mail Instructions

US Postal Service (USPS) mail affixed with appropriate postage may be sent through the outgoing mail slot in the mailroom. Additional shipping and mailing services are available at The Trove.

The Trove

The Trove is a full-service postal annex that provides a variety of shipping and mailing services to the public, students, and the campus community.

• Shipping and Mailing Services: We offer competitive university-negotiated shipping rates for all major carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS). Stamps and shipping supplies are also available for purchase.
• Prepaid Drop-off Bins: Conveniently located inside for all carriers.
• Private Mailbox Rentals: Physical street address that accepts mail and package deliveries from all carriers. Our PMB rates are highly competitive compared to the local La Jolla community, making them an excellent choice for individuals and business owners seeking an affordable, safe, and accessible campus address.

Location: The entrance to The Trove is on the northeast corner of Library Walk, directly across from Geisel Library. For detailed directions, please refer to the campus interactive map.

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (excluding University holidays and campus closure days).

Amazon Shipment Options

For your convenience, UC San Diego has an Amazon Locker in each housing area, with one adjacent to the Package Room in Sixth College/North Torrey Pines Living Learning Neighborhood. Please search for a locker using the zip code 92093. Another option for receiving your Amazon packages is the Amazon@UCSanDiego, located conveniently in the Price Center. Activate the benefits of Amazon@UCSanDiego.
